How we help
From the first questions to the final load.
Our role is to help the landowner understand the options and, when harvesting makes sense, represent the landowner throughout the sale and cutting process.
1. Understand the property
We start with questions about acreage, existing timber, survey or property maps, current use and your goals for the land.
2. Evaluate the options
We look at the property and discuss practical choices such as thinning, clear cutting and replanting, continued growth, or planting new timber.
3. Look for available programs
When appropriate, we can help identify whether the property may qualify for relevant state or federal land-set-aside or forestry funding programs.
4. Market the timber
If harvesting is the right choice, we seek current pricing from multiple mills and help contract with the strongest suitable offer.
5. Mark & oversee the harvest
We mark harvest areas—and in some cases individual trees—arrange logging contracts and monitor the cutting process to keep the job on track.
6. Track loads & payments
We collect mill payments and prepare load-by-load reporting for checks sent to the landowner, while helping ensure the property is left in appropriate condition when logging is complete.
